Coach Kramer led our Charger Powerlifting teams into competition at the Royal Valley Powerlifting Meet this past Saturday. Here are our results: Women’s Division Gwynn - 1st bench, 1st squat, 1st clean, 1st overall Shyenne - 2nd squat, 2nd overall Jannel - 3rd clean Taylor - 2nd bench, 2nd squat, 2nd clean, 1st overall Emilee - 2nd bench, 3rd squat, 3rd clean 2nd overall The women’s team placed 2nd out of 22 teams. Team members were: Gwynn Blattner, Shyenne, Huff, Jannel Rathert, Taylor Schrick, Emilee Subelka, Addie Marlett, Bailey Ray, Zoe Weishaar, Tenley Noll, Ah’mia Huber, and Darby Noll. Sixth grade students worked collaboratively to complete the Bag-O-Stuff: Inferencing and Drawing Conclusions activity. As we reviewed these important reading and thinking skills, students analyzed the items in each bag to create a personality profile for a fictitious owner. This engaging activity encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and evidence-based reasoning.
