📚❤️ We had a special visitor this past Monday! Josie Thompson came in to read to our 1st graders, and they absolutely loved it!
The students were so excited to listen to the story, and Josie did a wonderful job making reading fun and engaging. We’re so thankful she took the time to share her love of reading with our students! 📖✨
Thank you, Josie! Our 1st graders loved having you!

We had a great start to our middle school cross country season. It was HOT out there Saturday but our JCN runners pushed through and had an awesome meet. We had 9 runners represent JCN and our middle school girls placed 2nd as a team. We had 3 individual medal winners, as well. 7th grade girls: 1st - Blakelyn (17:09.6) 4th - Maggie (18:10.9) 7th grade boys: 4th - Colt (14:54.3) We are so proud of all our runners today. Way to go, Chargers! 💚
Our 5th graders got hands-on by making homemade play dough in science this week! They explored how solids and liquids undergo physical changes when combined and transformed through a recipe. Here’s our recipe to give it a try at home: ¼ cup flour, ⅛ cup water, 2 TB salt, ¾ tsp vegetable oil
