Track Seniors and Parents, the Seniors and Senior Parent's recognition will be between the 400s and the 300 Hurdles tonight.
The bond will repair and replace the deteriorated parking lot at the high school and bring ADA parking to the front of the building, creating safe access for all who visit JCN.

Senior night for baseball will be recognized in between games!
The bond replaces HVAC, boilers, and other components that are nearing the end of their life. This will improve air quality and increase energy efficiency. A new HVAC will be installed at the high school gym to improve the experience of athletics and fine arts programming.

The little chargers track practice for today is canceled due to weather! The meet is still on for Saturday. Field events start at 10 am with running events to follow.
NEKL MS Track meet has been postponed to Friday, May 3 at 10 am for start of field events at Oskaloosa.
The cost of the bond projects is predicted to increase by 4.2% every year we wait. The $5.5 million in projects would cost $7.04 million in 2030. The state will pay 6% of the bond cost if it passes this year. The state bond assistance is predicted to be zero in 2025.

The bond will ensure ADA accessibility to our facilities, ensuring patrons can safely access the football stadium and the high school. The project will widen the ramp to the grandstands and lay asphalt between the high school and the stadium.


Kindergarten Roundup was a success with 35 students. We had a fun time singing, performing positional words while dancing with scarves, rounding up student names on various farm animals in the corral, coloring, cutting, and taking a bus ride around the town. Ending the session with a cupcake and juice box before parent pick up.

Due to circumstances with weather and activities, it is with regret we will cancel the Lil Charger Baseball Clinic. We ask that you pay for the shirt that has been ordered. If you have paid in full you will be refunded minus the cost of the shirt.
The shirts will be brought to the middle school school on Monday, April 29th and Thursday, May 2nd to be distributed to students who have paid for them. Thank you for supporting JCNHS Baseball! Go Chargers!

We are watching the weather closely for this afternoon's dismissal. We will have buses lined up at the regular time, but we may hold off on loading and departing if the storm is too severe. There may be a delay in afternoon transportation. Sports practices have moved inside until the weather passes. If you have concerns about your students' travel safety, please call your school office for early pick-up or release.
HS Baseball & Softball games from Thursday, April 25 vs Valley Falls, will be played tomorrow, Saturday, April 27 @ 10 am at the Valley Falls fields!
Softball Senior Night will be at 9:30 am before the game starts. Baseball Senior Night will be next Thursday, May 2nd at their home game in Nortonville.
HS Relays at Seamen tonight has been postponed to Monday, April 29th due to the weather.
