EMS families, please welcome our new 5th grade teacher, Amanda Smith!!
I'm so excited to join the Charger family! I began working in education as a sped para in the 2014/2015 school year at McLouth and truly loved that job. In 2018 My administrator at the time started strongly encouraging me to get my degree in elementary education. I enrolled in WGU in 2019, completed student teaching in the spring semester of 2021and started teaching 4th grade that fall, also all in McLouth. My husband Jeremy and I bought a house outside of Nortonville in the summer of 2020 and our family of 5 lived in a camper as we renovated the 100+ year old house. We have 3 fantastic kids. Our son, Clayton, will graduate this year as a rival Bulldog. Our oldest daughter, Addi, will be a sophomore at JCNHS. She was actually the first to join the Charger family last spring. Our youngest daughter, Eryn, will be joining me at JCN EMS as a 4th grader. I look forward to getting to know all of you!
