The JCN Band is selling trash bags to help raise money toward our band trip next year! Each bag purchase contributes the student you purchase it from directly. We have 8 days left to sell a collective 250 trash bags so we can get the best prices. Reach out to any band student or Mr. Pi to restock your trash bag supply!

Sports Physicals May 14th & May 21st
On Wednesday, May 14th, FW Huston Medical Center will host a School Sports Physicals afternoon at Jefferson Co. North EMS.
On Wednesday, May 21st, FW Huston Medical Center will host a School Sports Physicals morning at Jefferson Co. North High School.
ALL incoming freshmen and anyone else who will be in a PE class, and all others that are in sports!

The Pre-participation Physical Evaluation (PPE) packets have been sent home with students. Additional copies of the Kansas State High School Activities PPE may be found at http://www.kshsaa.org/Public/PDF/FORM-PPE.pdf
In addition to the KSHAA sports physical, any student participating in athletics or spirit MUST have on file with the school a Concussion and Head Injury Information Release Form signed by both a parent/guardian and the student. This form must be on file before the student participates in their first practice of the school year.

Huge shout out to the JCN EMS Booster Club for bringing the Ad Astra Planetarium to visit our 3rd-5th graders! We loved getting to zoom through space and see our solar system up close in the portable planetarium!

A group of hs students took a trip to the annual Highland Art day for some art fun. Students had a great time doing various art activities, and Anna Wendling recieved an honorable mention for her painting "Stuck".
