We had a twisting good time at the JCN Kindergarten Roundup Luau Thursday and Friday.





First graders had a math project to create a scroll of numbers to 500. Wesley, Kade, Sadie, Tyler & Hunter went above & beyond, writing their numbers to 1000! Great job, firsties!

We finished our second read aloud book today and celebrated with ice cream sandwiches. What a great group of kids! I will really miss them next year.

The first graders had a great time on their field trip. They visited the KU Natural History Museum, the Booth Family Hall of Athletics, Allen Fieldhouse, saw the original Rules of Basketball, and many Kansas animals at Prairie Park Nature Center. They also enjoyed sack lunches & playing at the park.

Mrs. Moore’s Kindergarten class invited preschool to come buddy read. Preschool got to choose a stuffed animal to hold.





Kindergarten classes enjoyed a field trip in Topeka at the Discovery Center, Westridge Mall for sack lunch, followed with a trip to the zoo.. The theme was learning about characteristics of dinosaurs.
