The third grade class was presented dictionaries this week from the ladies of the Pleasant View Grange. This is part of the "Words for Thirds" program. The third graders are excited to own their very own dictionaries now, and they have enjoyed looking at all the great information their dictionaries have to offer.

JCNHS spent the day working together for Community Clean Up in Winchester and Nortonville! -Painting -Raking leaves -Cleaning windows -You name it! Today was about giving back to and showing appreciation for our community who goes above and beyond supporting our students and staff. Thank you! Thank you to Mrs. Halling for event coordination- that is not an easy task! Thank you to our JCNHS Booster Club for bottled water and granola bars to get us started and caramel apples in the afternoon! Thank you to all who helped us piece together the finer details to make this happen! #JCNexcellence

Mrs. Courtney's fifth grade lunch bunch finished their book today. We had cookies to celebrate. They are already giving me ideas for the next book. It's great to see kids excited about reading.
