Mrs. Berry's 3rd Grade Publishes Books:
Mrs. Berry's 3rd grade students worked hard this quarter to publish short stories styled after the Magic Tree House book series. Students were excited to show off their books.

Elementary students brought Christmas cheer the residents of nursing homes in Winchester and Nortonville as well as the district office to celebrate the end of the semester with Christmas caroling!

Mrs. Deviney’s class was SUPER excited to pick out their December books! 📚 Thanks to all the family, friends & patrons who donated money to the Scholastic Book Club for many of the JCNEMS students to receive a free book each month throughout the school year. What better way to improve reading than to get books into the hands of young readers!

The PreK-2nd grade decided to change things up a bit this year & have a “Christmas in Whoville” day, rather than our annual “Polar Express” day. I think the kids had fun & enjoyed the change. 🎄🎅🏼 🎁 ❤️ Look at the beautiful backdrop created by our very own, Pam Pursel! 🎨 Thanks to the JCNHS FBLA for helping with the trees! We even had a visit from Santa & the Grinch himself! 😉

“Snow Day” No school tomorrow, December 16. The 6-12 grade concert will now be on Thursday, December 19.

Wanna build a Snowman? We challenged fifth graders to build snowmen out of pattern blocks. The challenge included building a snowman that is one foot tall, sturdy, and has characteristics of traditional snowmen.
