This week's JCN highlight goes to our newly trained bus driver, JCNHS Ag teacher, Mr. Umphenour. On Thursday and Friday morning, bus students were greeted with an unexpected driver as he stepped in to sub for a daily route driver. JCN appreciates his willingness to spend his summer learning to drive and becoming CDL certified. Then, stepping in when needed to ensure our students got to school. Thank you for showing your #JCNexcellence!
Last week's JCN highlight went to Mrs. Avey and Mrs. Brown for bringing the excitement to EMS students on the first day of school. Dancing flamingos were not on anyone's bingo card to start the year. We are thrilled to welcome our students and families back for another exciting school year at JCN EMS! Our staff has been hard at work preparing classrooms, planning engaging lessons, and ensuring that our building is ready for a fantastic year of learning and growth.
Important Information for the Start of the Year:
School Doors Open: 7:30 a.m. each day. Students should not arrive before this time, as supervision will not be available.
First Day of School: We will have an early dismissal at 1:00 p.m. on the first day to allow students to ease into the new year. There will be NO after school care on the first day of school.
Back-to-School Night: Please join us on Tuesday, August 12th, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, visit classrooms, and learn more about our plans for the year.
We are confident that this year will be filled with academic achievement, personal growth, and positive experiences for every student. We value the partnership between school and home, and together, we can ensure that our students thrive.
