Miss Schmelzle's class is kicking off March with a Reading Madness tournament. Each week students will keep track of their reading minutes and compete to see who can read the most this March! 📚 Students had fun creating a name, logo, jersey, colors, and a mascot for their team!
Read Across America & the birthday of Dr. Seuss were celebrated this week at JCNES. The primary wing had a great ending to our fun week of activities! ❤️💙📚 A special thank you to Dr. Kempf & Dr. Meier for reading to the students. Many students loved the green eggs & ham. 🍳

Jefferson County North is in session today, March 5th, 2025. Due to present conditions, buses may need additional time on their morning routes. The county is working to clear and salt roads at this time. As a parent or guardian, if you feel the current conditions are too difficult for you or your student driver, please call the school office this morning.

Mrs. Deviney's 1st graders enjoyed ice cream sundaes from the JCNEMS Booster Club after finding 10 medallions hidden in the school. 🍨 The children walked the plank before receiving their ice cream from the pirates. 🏴☠️ Thank you Booster Club for the fun activity! 💚🤍🖤
