Our JCN teams are about to kick off another season and everyone's excited. This article talks about the biggest challenge to high school sports is not what you would expect though. It is parents and fans who often make refereeing and coaching a difficult job to fill. We are currently short hundreds of refs in Kansas and recruiting young people to take a verbal assaulting while reffing is not attractive to most.
