What do you teach at JCN? I teach reading, proctor the College Algebra class, supervise the independent study classes, and tutor math.
What year did you start at JCN? The first time I worked here was March 1989 through May 1995; then I returned in February 1999 until the present.
Why did you choose JCN? It is a good school district and my husband taught here.
Where else have you taught? What subject and years? I taught third grade in Olathe, KS in 1978-1979; later, I was an elementary librarian in Parson, KS and in the Fort Leavenworth school district, and a K-12 librarian in the McLouth school district from 1995-1997. I also taught 8th grade math at JCN EMS during the 2007-2008 school year.
What is your favorite subject to teach? I enjoy math. However, as a librarian, I also like reading very much.

What is your degree in? M.L.S. in Library Science in 1980 and B.S.E. in Elementary Education in 1978
Where do you live? Winchester, Kansas
Do you have any family? My husband, Douglas, and two children, Kent and Susan. We have no pets since our 16 year old dachshund, Mocha, died in December 2010.
Any interesting facts? Favorite color, day of the week, food, TV show, movie, etc.
I enjoy cooking and collecting cookbooks. I like traveling, going to movies and mysteries. My favorite colors are blue and rust and blackberry cobbler is one of my favorite foods.
