Announcements 12-7

Seminar  :  Choir

Senior mentors and freshmen will decorate sugar cookies on Monday, December 11 during 2nd shift in the Charger Cove. Those senior mentors that are in band and wanting to go sort fruit will eat 2nd shift and then head out to help with band sorting.

There are stockings hanging in the main hallway.  Write on them "the best gift you are giving someone else."

There will be reps here from Kansas State University and Fort Hays State University next Monday and Tuesday.  Please sign up on Mr. McFarland’s door if interested.

The annual food drive continues. Each class must have at least 200 points by the end of the week to receive an award, and for a student to participate in the reward, he or she must bring in at least 5 points. Currently, the seniors have achieved this mark with 299 points, as well as the sophomores with 242. The freshmen are super close with 174, and the juniors are within easy reach at 142. Current participation rates range from 41% to 52%, so imagine how high the numbers could reach, and how many people could be helped if those numbers approach 100%. Remember, food as well as cash is accepted for the food bank. Again, if you need help reaching 5 points, think about asking around the communities, or see Ms. Halling.

As for overall standings with class size factored in, the juniors are in 4th, the freshmen in 3rd, the sophomores in 2nd, and the seniors in first. Don’t forget the food drive concludes tomorrow morning at 8:05.

If you are wanting any charger gear don't forget to turn in you order form by next Thursday the 14th! There are extra order forms in the office if you are needing one!
