STATE BOUND Girls!

The girls basketball team has skillfully made their way to STATE! On Saturday, March 6th, the girls beat Marysville at Sub-state in Horton with an ending score of 69-63. The girls will now go play in the State tournament in Hutchinson on Thursday, March 11th, at 3:00 p.m. Their first game will be played against Frontenac.
There will be a pep bus for the students who would like to attend Thursday's game to watch the girls. The students will have to sign up on the sheet in the office if they want to go. The students are responsible for their meals and admission. After the game, the students will then be bussed back to Winchester.
The JCN Pep Band will also be bussed down to Hutchinson to cheer on JCN at the State tournament. The band will be leaving the EMS at 9:15 a.m. and the high school at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 11th! They will return later that evening. The band members are responsible for their meals--including a sack lunch to eat on the way there--but the school pays for their admission!!
