2009 Charger Middle School Football

The 2009 Jefferson County North Middle School football team consisted of 26 players, 4 managers and 2 coaches. We started the season with victories over Valley Falls and Oskaloosa. The team learned many valuable lessons in a close loss to McLouth. We ended the season by destroying Xavier, but endured tough losses to Pleasant Ridge and Wathena. We also stepped outside of our 13 team league this year by playing Silver Lake.
Thanks to all the parents for their support all season long. A big thank you goes out to the parents that provided the meals. The support of the school staff was very important to the team. Finally, thanks to the pep club, cheerleaders, and spectators who supported us during the season.
Team members were: Ty Brickell, Jimi Pisachubbe, Tyler Weishaar, Devin Schmidt, Matt Stutz, Luke Pyle, Justin Larson, Christian Pease, Matt Moore, Anthony Williams, Chris Guyle, Chase Fletcher, Lane Frost, Shawn Lane, Zach Mumford, Ethan Hubbard, Joseph Kern, Austin Wolfe, Brooks Mize, Tyler Nolting, Alex Williams, Michael Johnson, Peyton Barrett, Ty Jobbins, Conner Norris, and Taylor Barnes. The managers were Kyle Noll, Joel Abel, Caden McAfee and Gavin Polson. Coaches were Thad Polson and Rich Jobbins.
