MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF USD 339
HELD ON MAY 18, 2009 AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE
WINCHESTER, KANSAS
The Special meeting of the Board of Education of USD 339 was called to order by Vice-President, William Perry, Jr. (in the absence of President, Ron Langston) at 7:32 p.m. in the district office in Winchester, KS.
Also present were Tony Domann, Sharon Porter, Karen Edmonds, Keith Ostrander, Tim Marshall and Susan Coppinger.
Keith Ostrander made a motion to approve the agenda; motion seconded by Sharon Porter. Motion carried 5 – 0.
(High School Football Field Light Project) Dr. Marshall reviewed the bids received for the high school football field lighting project and discussed the project specifications and engineering. Keith Ostrander made a motion to reject all bids; motion seconded by Sharon Porter. Motion carried 5 – 0.
(Personnel) Tony Domann made a motion at 7:55 p.m. to go into executive session for 10 minutes with the Superintendent to discuss personnel matters of non-elected personnel in order to protect the privacy interest of the individual(s) to be discussed. Motion seconded by Karen Edmonds. Motion carried 5 – 0.
Perry called the meeting back into regular session at 8:05 p.m.
Perry adjourned the meeting at 8:25 p.m.
