Egg Recall Expanded
The recent egg recall has been expanded to include Hillendale label eggs with the following plant numbers: P1860 and P1663. UPC: 0-77438-55503-7.
The only eggs affected by this recall have plan numbers P1860 and P1663 and Julian dates as follows:
- P1860 - Julian dates ranging from 099 to 230
- P1663 - Julian dates ranging from 137 to 230
Only eggs with these plant numbers are effected - even though the brand name may be the same.
Julian dates and plant codes can be found stamped on the end of the egg carton or printed on the case label. The plant number begins with the letter P and then the number. The Julian date follows the plant number, for example: P1860 230.
According to the egg supplier, Hillendale, the following Prairie Farms/Roberts locations have received eggs with these plant codes: Roberts Kansas City (Belfonte), Roberts Omaha, and Roberts Iowa City.
