JCN Academic Awards presented to elementary, middle school students
Jefferson County North Middle School Awards were presented May 20, 2010, at the E/MS in Nortonville.
Some of the awards presented were as follows:
Spelling Bee Winners. Kayleigh Furhman, 1st; Ty Brickell, 2nd; Devon Wilson, 3rd.
Perfect Attendance. Zachary Mumford and Devon Wilson.
Top Academic Scholar (95 percent or higher in core classes).
6th Grade: Jake Brickell, Lane Fowler, Gabrielle George, Jenna Kramer, Devin Lampen, Jeremy Larson, Savannah Parkey, Kaitlyn Preut, and Amanda Wistuba.
7th Grade: Lauryn Baker, Peyton Barrett, Rylie Farrar, Hannah Fine, Ethan Hubbard, Ty Jobbins, Allison Rule, and Devon Wilson.
8th Grade: Molly Bassette, Ty Brickell, Bailee Deviney, Nicole Ellerman, Kayla Jobbins, Jacee Kramer, Mallory Kramer, Cassandra Lampen, Kylie Manville, Amber McCown, Jamie Navinskey, Heather Polson, Hannah Twenhafel, and Samantha Twenhafel.

Outstanding Academic Excellence
High achievement in math and reading on the sate test assessments or nationally-normed tests and a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 grading scale.
