ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE MUSIC CONCERTS
The K-5 Music concert will be held Tuesday, December 15, at the Elementary Middle School in Nortonville at 7:00 p.m.

MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC CONCERT
The 6-12 Music Concert will be held on Friday, December 18, at 7:00 p.m. at the high school in Winchester.

NO SCHOOL
December 21 through January 4 with school resuming on January 5.

EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSINGS
We will continue to use our voice messaging system that will automatically call your home (or a designated number) to warn of school closings. We will aslo continue to broadcast the closings on radio and television stations listed below.

As soon as it is determined that weather or other conditions exist making it advisable to cancel/postpone school for the day, or dismiss earlier than scheduled, TV and radio stations will be notified. Dismissal time will be approximately one hour after the stations are notified.

Emergency dismissal of school is necessary at times. Snow, plumbing, or heating problems, or other conditions may result in school not being held or in early dismissal.

CHRISTMAS BENEFIT
The sixth annual MSBBB benefit game will be played at Valley Falls on December 17, at 5:30 p.m. This pre-Christmas basketball game is a chance for JCN and Valley Falls basketball players to raise money for needy families with the hope that the players will understand the true spirit of Christmas by giving to others. All proceeds are split and given to an organization to buy gifts on each schools behalf. Please plan to attend a great game of two top notch programs and share in the true spirit of Christmas with the players and coaches.

CALENDAR CHANGES
DVL Art Show at Oskaloosa on April 19 is changed to April 12 at Jackson Heights
HS Track @ Sabetha on May 7 has been cancelled.

CALENDAR ADDITION
HS Varsity Track at Atchison High School on April 16 at 3:30 p.m.
HS Varsity Scholar Bowl @ Washburn on December 5 at 10:00 a.m.
