Week of the Young Child Family Fun and Info Fair a Huge Success
Tuesday, April 15th's Family Fair in Oskaloosa proved to be the
biggest yet. Over 200 Jefferson
County children and their caregivers turned out to enjoy an evening
of food, fun, and information.
Representative Lee Taffanelli attended this annual event hosted by
the Jefferson County Early Childhood Council to celebrate young
children and the people and agencies who love and support them.
Families from all six Jefferson County school districts turned
out.
Over two dozen agencies that provide help and support to families with children prenatal through eight years were on hand to answer questions, give information, and talk with caregivers. Week of the Young Child is celebrated every April and is founded by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Thank you to all who supported us in making this a wonderful event in Jefferson County and for all in "Charger Country" for making Jefferson County North an extraordinary place to raise kids!
